About A Look Back: The Taaqademy Journey
We do not just teach scales and theory here. Every student eventually hits a stage, whether it is a local gig at The Humming Tree or an annual school fest, because music is not meant to be locked in a classroom. We handle the production, the sound check, and the nerves, so you just show up and play.
Our history is built on thousands of students, from kids picking up a guitar for the first time to bands shredding Metallica solos at 11. When we started, we were just a bunch of musicians chasing jam sessions in Ulsoor. Today, that energy has turned into a structured, yet completely non-boring, approach to learning.
We believe in the power of the stage. Whether it is our 2012 festival at Alliance Francaise or the release of our first student original album in 2017, everything we do is aimed at getting you out of your bedroom and into the spotlight. We teach you how to handle a mic, how to work with a band, and how to deal with the rush of a live crowd.
For schools, we take that same philosophy on campus. We integrate into IB and IGCSE frameworks while ensuring the music periods actually feel like music, not just another lecture. We bring the gear, the sound engineers, and the mentorship. If you have been waiting for a sign to start, this is it. Come by, adjust maadi, and join the jam.
