About Winter Warriors: Heated Pool Competitions
When the winter chill hits Delhi and NCR, most swimmers stop their training. We keep going because consistency is what builds a real swimmer. At our Eicher School venue in Faridabad, we maintain the water temperature between 25°C and 27°C, allowing you to train and compete without the shivers. This ensures your technique stays sharp and your lap times remain consistent, no matter what the thermometer says outside.
Why Winter Training Matters
Swimming is a year-round discipline. Taking a three-month break during winter means losing valuable muscle memory and water confidence. By organizing these heated pool meets, I want to ensure every swimmer—from age 5 to 70—has a place to test their limits.
Where We Race
We leverage two distinct types of facilities to suit different competition styles:
- Eicher School, Faridabad: Our primary winter hub. These meets focus on community, grit, and endurance, utilizing manual stopwatches to keep the atmosphere personal and focused on individual growth.
- Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool (Talkatora): Reserved for our flagship events. We use electronic touchpad technology here for 0.01-second precision, giving serious athletes the professional environment they need to qualify for state and national levels.
Categories & Recognition
We organize races for everyone. Whether you are a beginner looking to earn your first medal or a competitive swimmer chasing podium finishes, we have a lane for you. Every participant receives a certificate and a finisher's medal, because I believe every swimmer who shows up deserves recognition for their effort.
We also host relay categories for schools and clubs to build team spirit. If you are aiming for the 'Best Swimmer' points tally, keep an eye on our event calendar throughout the winter season. The fog might be here, but the pool is warm and ready.
