A Collection of Moments Captured From the Heart
This gallery is a deep dive into my favorite frames—the ones that stay with me long after the camera is packed away. From traditional Maharashtrian ceremonies to quiet, candid portraits, these images represent the connection I build with the people I photograph.
This is the kind of moment I live for. The pure, unscripted joy on this aaji's face after we bought all her flowers was more beautiful than the flowers themselves. This black and white portrait captures the story of her hard work and the simple happiness that followed.
Capturing the special bond of a couple during their 'Pahili Makar Sankrant'. This video showcases the traditional Maharashtrian attire, the playful moments, and the quiet connection that makes these festive couple shoots so memorable.
A Maharashtrian bride in all her glory. I focused on capturing her serene expression and the intricate details of her bridal look, from the traditional 'mundavalya' to the rich texture of her Paithani saree, against a rustic brick wall.
The magic of Diwali captured in a single frame. I used the warm glow of fairy lights and a traditional diya to create this atmospheric portrait, highlighting her gentle smile and the festive spirit of the occasion.
A conceptual portrait from a Durga Puja themed shoot. This image captures the essence of Bengali tradition, with the intricate 'sholar saaj', the classic white and red saree, and a serene, divine expression.
Capturing the delightful innocence of childhood with a Janmashtami theme. This little one, dressed as Kanha with his flute and peacock feather, brought so much joy to the set. This is a perfect example of a themed baby photoshoot.
The pure, uninhibited laughter during a Haldi ceremony. I love capturing these candid moments of happiness. The bride's joyful expression as she adjusts her floral jewelry is what makes this wedding ritual so special.
An intimate black and white portrait from an engagement shoot. By removing color, I can focus purely on the emotion and the beautiful connection shared between the couple, making their loving gaze the centerpiece of the photograph.
A dramatic night portrait from a Makar Sankrant series. Using focused lighting against a dark background, I aimed to create a cinematic feel that makes the subject, dressed in a traditional black saree, truly stand out.
About Featured
Most people ask about the camera gear first, but for me, the story comes before the equipment. When we shoot, I spend time talking with you before we start so the photos feel natural. Whether it is a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony or a casual portrait session, my goal is to make you forget the camera is there so we can capture the real you.
My approach is simple: I shoot manatla, which means from the heart. This collection features a mix of my work, ranging from the intricate details of a Paithani saree at a wedding to the quiet emotion in a black and white candid shot.
Why these images matter
These photos are not about perfect lighting or forced poses. They are about the feeling. You will see Durga Puja portraits with dhunuchi smoke, the raw joy of a Haldi ceremony, and quiet festival moments. Every image here was captured using my Sony A7iii and Sigma prime lenses to get that soft depth of field, but the real credit goes to the people in front of the lens who trusted me with their time.
