About Maharashtrian Weddings
Most photographers nail the stage shots, but I focus on what happens in between the rituals. I know exactly where to stand during the Antarpat and Saptapadi to catch the raw, intimate connection you share, all without blocking your guests or disrupting the flow of the ceremony.
A Maharashtrian wedding is a unique blend of high-energy chaos and deeply private moments. My goal is to capture the contrast between the two. When I shoot, I am constantly watching for the small details that make your day yours—the way you hold hands during the Saptapadi, or the look on your family's faces during the Kanyadaan.
I bring a 4-person crew to ensure we cover every angle. While my traditional photographer is handling the formal stage shots and group portraits, I am on the floor with a candid mindset. We use professional Nikon gear, which helps us navigate the tricky indoor lighting often found in Mumbai venues while keeping everything sharp and clean.
For the Haldi, expect me to be right in the middle of the mess, capturing the bright yellow colors and the laughter. During the main wedding ceremony, my focus shifts to silence and intimacy. My goal isn't just to document the rituals but to tell the story of your union. You will receive 600-800+ color-corrected, high-resolution images, along with a 15-25 minute cinematic film that feels like a story rather than a long, unedited recording.
