About Authentic Maharashtrian Ceremonies
Capturing a Maharashtrian wedding requires anticipating the rituals. I make sure my team is perfectly positioned during the Antarpat so we catch the genuine expressions of the couple, ensuring the lighting remains soft and natural even in busy, indoor hall settings.
My approach to Maharashtrian weddings is built on blending into the background while keeping an eye on the details. Whether it is the vibrant Haldi or the serious, heartfelt moments during the Varmala, I don't believe in forcing poses. Instead, I rely on my 3-member team to cover the different angles—one focusing on your candid reactions, another handling the traditional group shots on stage, and the third managing the lighting to ensure every frame looks sharp.
I use professional Nikon gear, which is particularly effective for the warm, indoor lighting of most wedding halls in Mumbai and Thane. My standard wedding packages include 12 hours of coverage, so I am there from the early getting ready scenes right through to the final Bidai. You will receive 350 to 500 color-corrected images and a premium flush-mount album that tells your story in order, from the preparations to the reception fun.
I have covered hundreds of weddings in Pune and the Mumbai metropolitan area, and I am comfortable navigating the specific flow of Marathi ceremonies. If you are planning a multi-day event like a Sangeet followed by the wedding day, I offer extended packages with dual-volume luxury albums and advanced skin retouching on select hero shots.
