Live Music for Cafes, Resorts, and Festivals

The audience lights up their phones for the last song of the night. It's a beautiful way to end a show, creating a memorable, shared moment.
Performing a ghazal, "Unse Nazarein Kya Mili," at a poolside gig. The serene environment was perfect for this soulful and romantic song.
A clip from a gig I played for a lively group of "old-young guys". Music truly is for every age, and their energy was infectious.
About Cafe, Resort & Festival Gigs
Whether it is an open-air resort evening or a packed cafe show, the setup needs to match the space. I keep my gear portable and sound-ready so we do not waste time on long sound checks. My duo setup with a percussionist is the sweet spot for these venues—it gives you that full, rhythmic punch without taking up the entire floor space, leaving plenty of room for your guests to enjoy the music.
Venues like cafes, resorts, and public festivals require a different energy than a traditional banquet hall. It is about being part of the atmosphere, not just background noise.
For smaller cafe gigs, I usually go solo with my acoustic guitar—it keeps things intimate and soulful. If the resort has a poolside vibe or it is a larger festival stage like the Mistura Art Fest, I bring my percussionist along. Adding that rhythmic depth with a cajon or electronic pad changes the energy completely, making it perfect for bigger crowds.
I handle my own portable PA system for smaller venues, which means less hassle for the cafe owner or event organiser. I do not just play tracks; I read the room. If the crowd is winding down, I switch to acoustic ballads. If they are ready to dance, I up the tempo with Bollywood hits or regional tracks.
I am based in Nashik but frequently travel to Mumbai, Lonavala, and Igatpuri for gigs. Whether it is a corporate sundowner or a private festival stage, the aim is always the same: good music, good company, and that perfect vibe.
