About Intimate & Soulful Performances
For these intimate events, I usually recommend a solo setup or an acoustic duo with a guitarist. It keeps the volume comfortable for conversation while adding that live, soulful energy to the room. If your venue has space constraints or you prefer a relaxed atmosphere where guests can still talk, this setup works better than a full band.
When you strip away the massive concert lights, you get closer to the music. That is the core of my acoustic setup. Whether it is a milestone birthday, a relaxed sundowner, or an anniversary dinner, my goal is to curate a space where music enhances your conversation rather than overpowering it.
I bring my guitar or keyboard, sometimes a percussionist, and we keep the playlist flexible. I lean heavily into soulful Bollywood classics, unplugged Hindi pop, and soft Gujarati folk numbers that hit home.
