It was a pleasure doing this traditional South Indian bridal makeover for the wonderful actress Mahima Nambiar. We focused on a classic look with kohl-rimmed eyes, a neat hair bun adorned with fresh jasmine flowers, and a radiant complexion to match her magenta silk saree.

When we work on your traditional look, my goal is to enhance your features, not hide them. I start with detailed skin preparation using dermat-grade primers to ensure your base remains flawless, whether you are under bright stage lights or outdoor sunlight. For South Indian weddings, I know the makeup needs to handle the richness of Kanjivaram silk sarees and the weight of gold jewellery, so I use a high-definition base that looks natural in 4K photography but holds up through hours of ceremonies.
I have extensive experience with traditional styling, including intricate hair setups like the Long Braid (Jada) or elegant buns, and I ensure that fresh flowers and hair extensions are secured comfortably. Draping is a crucial part of this look, and I take extra care to ensure your saree or lehenga is pleated and pinned to allow you freedom of movement while looking perfectly poised.
