About Life at the Academy
My academy isn't about watching lectures; it's about the hours you spend at the practice table. Every student here begins with whiteboard theory and moves directly into live demonstrations, working with professional tools. Whether it is perfecting a cut-crease or mastering a bridal bun, you are training in a real-world environment where we prioritize technique over trends.
Why the Academy Atmosphere Matters
Learning makeup is more than just watching tutorials. It requires a dedicated space where you can make mistakes, correct your grip, and understand product formulation. At my Dombivli studio, I have created a setup where we focus on how a product sits on the skin, not just which product to use.
The Practical Difference
When you join a batch, you are not just a spectator. We follow a strict curriculum:
- Theory First: We start with color theory, skin science, and neutralizers. You need to know why a base cracks before you can fix it.
- Live Demos: I show you the technique in real-time, focusing on complex tasks like drag-proof base application and intricate eye makeup.
- Hands-on Practice: You work on dummies and models, gaining muscle memory for hair partition, blow-drying, and advanced bridal puffs.
- Portfolio Ready: By the end of our diploma, you do a final exam on a model that doubles as your first professional shoot. We manage the lighting and styling so you leave with actual work to show clients.
No Shortcuts
I don’t believe in shortcuts or hiding flaws with filters. Our training is designed to make you stand on your own. You learn how to adapt for Mumbai’s humidity with water-resistant methods, how to match skin tones, and how to build your own vanity kit. My goal is to ensure that when you walk out, you have the skills and the mindset to take on a bridal booking solo.
