About Student Portfolio Day: The Final Exam
These photos aren't just classwork. Every bridal look you see here was created by my students during their final exam. They handled the entire process, from skin prep and color theory to final hair styling and saree draping, all under professional studio lighting. It is their first real portfolio shoot, and it proves exactly what they can achieve when they combine dedication with the right techniques.
My teaching method is simple: theory first, then practice. For this final exam, my students bring in their own models to demonstrate that they can handle real-world challenges. Whether it is a traditional Maharashtrian look, a South Indian bridal style, or a Bengali glam, they have to prove they can manage different skin tones and hair textures without me stepping in to fix it. We focus on 'drag-proof' bases, transfer-proof makeup, and hair styling that holds up for a full wedding event.
There are no filters used in these images. When you look at these photos, you are seeing raw, authentic skill. This exam is the most important day for them because it gives them the images they need to build their own professional portfolios. When they leave my academy in Dombivli, they are not just students with a certificate. They are artists with a body of work ready to attract their first paying clients. If you are ready to put in the hard work and learn these skills, my next batch is open for enrollment.
