It all starts with a dry Russian manicure. I use an E-file to clean up your cuticles with crazy precision before applying any base. This isn't just about looks, it’s about getting that perfect seal so your polish actually stays put for weeks without lifting.
People ask me how my clients go weeks without chips. It is not magic, it is prep. I don't believe in soaking your nails in water before doing them because that causes the nail plate to expand, making the polish pop off later. My process is strictly dry. I use an E-file to exfoliate and clean your cuticles, creating a clean canvas that makes the gel cling like it is part of your nail.
Whether you are opting for a rubber base overlay to stop biting or full gel extensions for length, the goal is always structural integrity. I check for apex building to ensure your nails do not break the second you open a soda can. If you are coming in for a glow-up, we will do a quick assessment of your natural nail bed and pick the right product—be it builder gel (BIAB) or hard gel—to help them grow out healthy underneath. It is a journey, but it is a fun one.
