About Modern Art: Abstract, Swirls & Lines
When we go for these abstract swirl or line designs, I usually recommend using a solid nude or clear base. It helps the art pop and keeps the grow-out looking subtle, so you can rock them for weeks without that annoying gap near your cuticle.
Abstract art is all about the flow. I love doing these because no two sets are ever the same. You show me a Pinterest save or a random sketch, and we adapt the scale and colors to fit your nail bed perfectly.
For these, I use a fine liner brush for those crisp, clean lines. Whether you are feeling that retro 70s vibe with bold orange and blue swirls or something classy with white geometric patterns and gold studs, it is all in the brush control.
Operating from my studio in Goregaon West, I get a lot of requests for these. If you have short nails or natural ones, do not worry, these designs look just as fire on them as they do on extensions. If you are doing overlays on natural nails to grow them out, abstract art is actually a great distraction from length anxiety. Let us talk about your nail shape during the appointment—almond or oval really complements the curves of a swirl design, but square works if you want a graphic, edgy look.
