A well-placed jaali does more than divide a room. It filters light, adds texture, and creates a functional piece of art that ties your entire space together.

This natural marble jaali features a unique 3D texture and a rustic finish. It's a re-heritage concept, perfect for exterior facades, lobby partitions, or any space where you want to play with perforated light.

The process of hand-carving a geometric honeycomb pattern into a stone jaali. This shows the melody of the chisel and hammer, translating emotion into a functional art form.

This video shows how I create music with a chisel, hammer, and stone. The process of making this geometric jaali is a rhythmic act of creation, resulting in something extraordinary.

This sandstone jaali is designed with a rustic, antique finish to give it a vintage look. It's carved in 30mm mint white sandstone and can be customized in 2D or 3D for different effects.

This 3D stone jaali, with its intricate honeycomb pattern, is being explained in my showroom. These panels can be made in various materials like sandstone, marble, or even granite, and are transported as single 6x3 feet pieces.

A CNC machine carving a geometric floral jaali. The precision of the machine allows for incredibly intricate patterns that blend traditional motifs with modern production techniques.

This video demonstrates the importance of lighting for a 3D stone jaali. A simple strip light from the top creates beautiful shadows and highlights the geometric pattern, making the design pop at night.

About Stone Jaalis & Partitions

Many clients worry that stone jaalis will be too heavy or difficult to clean. I craft my panels at a standard 30mm thickness to strike the perfect balance between structural integrity and elegance, ensuring they are robust enough for room dividers yet detailed enough for close viewing. Each piece is finished with a protective sealer, making regular dusting the only maintenance you will ever need.

Whether you want a traditional geometric lattice or a modern parametric pattern, my process remains rooted in precision. I combine high-end CNC technology with manual hand-sanding to soften the edges, creating a texture that feels refined, not machine-cut.

Material Choices

I primarily work with Mint White, Red Agra, and Beige Sandstone, though marble is an option for a more premium finish. These materials are selected for their durability and how well they take on carvings, from 30mm through-cut jaalis (perfect for ventilation) to blind-cut panels (ideal for surface engraving).

Lighting Your Space

Lighting is what truly brings a jaali to life. If you are using these for a partition, consider installing a strip light from the top. It creates soft shadows and highlights the 3D texture, making the pattern pop, especially in the evening. This creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that natural light cannot replicate on its own.

Design & Customization

Every space has a different scale. I can create single panels up to 6x3 feet for easier transport and installation, or scale up to hundreds of square feet for large facades. If you have an image from Pinterest or a rough sketch, share it with me. I will create a 3D view so we can finalize the pattern before a single piece of stone is cut.
