About Wildlife Photography Workshops

What This Is All About

Photography isn’t just about clicking buttons for me. I want you to feel the jungle, sense the light changing, and really tune in to the wild. My workshops are more like a journey - it's less about textbook settings, more about finding what makes a photo soulful.

Why I Teach This Way

Each image should feel like a meditation. We slow down, listen to the wind, and wait for that moment when a bird does something unpredictable. That’s where the magic happens - not just in technique, but in being fully present. If you’re just starting out or you’ve gone a bit blank with your creativity, this is for you.

What We Dive Into

I mix creative vision with the nuts and bolts:

  • How to develop an intuitive eye and really sense the light
  • Storytelling through your shots, so they feel alive
  • Bird photography techniques for sharp, dynamic images
  • Getting the hang of bird behavior to catch those split-second stories
  • Little post-processing tricks to make your work stand out

The Field Experience

We head out to places like Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Two days, hands-on, feet-in-the-mud kinda learning. Expect boat rides for unique angles, good food, easy transport from Bangalore, and twin-sharing rooms right next to the action.

What Do You Really Want?

I always ask - Aakhir kya chahte ho? (So, what do you truly want?) from your photography. Is it just a nice shot, or something deeper? This is about finding that answer.

My Story

School days in Jamshedpur, flipping Sanctuary Asia mags, I got hooked on nature's stories. Back then, it was all about chasing the perfect shot. Then my guru, Shri Maitreya Rudrabhayananda ji, flipped my whole view. Now, photography’s my meditation. I try to catch the energy, the soul – not just faces. Folks call my portraits ‘therapeutic photography’. In the wild, staring down a wolf or waiting for a darter, patience becomes life’s lesson. Seeing Navi Mumbai’s wetlands vanish stings. My camera’s my voice for them.

My Work

Photography & Filmmaking - I shoot wildlife, fine art, portraits, and make films. Also do baby, family, and candid shoots.

Therapeutic Portrait Photography - I connect with your energy, making each photo a yantra. It’s a spiritual, healing experience.

Wildlife Soul Photography - I wait, I watch, I capture the real spirit—tigers, flamingos, whatever nature shows.

Spiritual Photography Workshops - ‘Sense the Light’ workshops teach you to feel and see, not just click. It’s about awareness.

Conservation Filmmaking - My film ‘Chalo Chanakya’ fights for Navi Mumbai’s mangroves. Filmmaking is my seva to nature.
