This is one of my favorite balcony makeovers. We took it from a cluttered storage area to a serene green space with neat planters and a fresh lawn, showing that even small balconies have huge potential.
A classic apartment balcony garden setup. We used simple terracotta pots and metal stands to create a clean, organized, and sunny spot for growing flowers and vegetables, all protected by a safety net.
Here’s how a balcony garden can look at night, becoming a peaceful retreat. This setup uses a mix of large planters and rectangular beds to maximize growing space for a variety of leafy greens and ornamental plants.
For this terrace, we used fabric grow bags which are great for rooftop gardening. They are lightweight and provide excellent drainage for growing healthy vegetable saplings like the brinjal and tomato plants you see here.

After we finish the setup, we don't just walk away. We spend time showing you exactly how to maintain it—from watering schedules to using kitchen scraps for natural pest control. Think of it as some free ka gyan to help you grow your own food and feel confident in your new garden.
