About Race Day: Pushing Our Limits
Don't worry about being 'fast enough' to start racing. Our race preparation goes beyond just the ride; we do group recon on technical courses, manage gear logistics, and ensure everyone has that essential pit crew vibe. If you’re nervous about your first race, just message us—we’ll talk you through the tech specs and the mental game before the flag drops.
Pushing limits means different things to different Spokies. For some, it’s nailing a clean transition in a local duathlon; for others, it’s hitting a personal best in an Individual Time Trial (ITT).
We actively participate in the Bangalore Bicycle Championships (BBCH), mountain bike nationals, and local events like the Thurahalli 13. Our philosophy is simple: we show up, we support each other, and we celebrate the grit it takes to compete.
What to expect on race day with us:
- Technical Support: From handling basic mechanicals to formation riding, we share knowledge to keep you safe and confident.
- Race-Day Prep: We often coordinate warm-up drills, bib collection, and group block registrations to make the logistics headache-free.
- Post-Race Celebration: It isn't just about the medal. Whether it's a podium finish or simply beating a time target, we celebrate every effort with post-race breakfast and loud cheers.
Training isn't done in isolation. We run group sessions specifically for cyclists and runners to build core strength and endurance. If you are curious about racing but don't know where to start, you are in the right place. We believe it is never too late to jump into the competitive scene.
