We focus on tactical movement and game intelligence, so come prepared to sweat, listen, and show us how you handle the pressure of match-day situations.
The SMFA Pathway
We don't believe in just picking players; we believe in developing them. Our women’s football program is structured into clear age categories: U-14, U-17, and Open Age squads. Whether you are taking your first competitive steps or looking to refine your game for league play, we offer a pathway that values character as much as footwork.
Why Our Trials Are Different
Forget the typical 'show up and play' approach. At our trials—held across various turf grounds in Mumbai—we look for heart and hustle. You’ll go through technical drills like rondos and passing grids, followed by 7v7 or 9v9 match simulations. We are looking for directional first touches and the ability to read the game under pressure.
- Scheduled Trials: High-volume sessions with a guaranteed 15-20 minute assessment slot.
- Walk-in Batch Assessment: Integration into our regular training for 60-90 minutes, giving you a real feel for our squad intensity and allowing our AFC/AIFF licensed coaches to give immediate feedback.
Training Philosophy
Once you’re in, the training is rigorous. We emphasize tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and football nutrition. You’ll be training with girls who are just as hungry as you are. We’ve seen players come to us from all over Mumbai, and whether it’s rain or shine, the grind doesn’t stop. Thaan Liya—we’ve decided to make women's football in this city something special.
