I do not believe in piling on foundation to cover texture. Instead, my process starts with prepping your skin using intensive, high-end serums that hydrate your face first. I then use high-coverage concealers only on the specific areas that need it, leaving the rest of your skin to breathe. This approach ensures your makeup looks natural in real life, not just under studio lights.
Real skin has texture, and that is perfectly okay. My approach to makeup is rooted in the belief that you should never have to hide your identity behind a mask. Whether you are dealing with acne-prone skin, open pores, or hyperpigmentation, the goal remains the same: enhancing your natural beauty.
Why my method works
Many traditional techniques focus on 'painting over' the skin, which often leads to that cakey look. At my SOHO Salon in Cleo County, Noida, I use professional-grade products like Nars, Huda Beauty, and Pat McGrath. These are chosen not just for the brand, but for how they sit on the skin.
- Hydration is key: Even for oily or acne-prone skin, hydration is the foundation of a smooth base. I use products like Embryolisse or YSL to prep the canvas, which prevents the makeup from clinging to dry patches or sinking into pores.
- Targeted Coverage: Rather than using a full-coverage foundation all over, I use spot correction. This technique keeps the finish 'skin-like' and prevents that unnatural, heavy appearance.
- Sweat-Resistant Finish: Our weather in NCR can be tough on makeup. I use specific setting techniques and high-quality loose powders to lock everything in, ensuring your look stays flawless from the first photo to the last dance.
