The secret to a flawless base on textured skin is not just heavy foundation; it is precise colour correction. I treat every skin concern individually—be it redness from acne or uneven pigmentation—by using specific correctors that neutralise tones without making the base look heavy or cakey. You get a finish that feels like skin, because that is what it is.
Many brides worry that makeup will draw attention to acne, open pores, or vitiligo. The truth is, it won’t if the base is breathable. My process starts with a 'Real Skin' hydration routine—using a toner, moisturiser, and pore-filling primer—to create a smooth canvas that stays put.
My Approach to Texture and Colour
For pigmentation and vitiligo, I rely on colour theory. I use orange or green correctors to cancel out unwanted tones before applying a light layer of long-wear HD foundation. We aren't erasing your features; we are evening them out.

It is important to understand the difference between texture and discolouration. Makeup can cover the colour of a pimple or scar, but it cannot flatten a physical bump. I am always honest with my clients about this. We will get the tone perfect, but we celebrate the real skin underneath.
