Hi, I am Ciya. I am a mom, artist, and founder of Soaked in Canvas. My studio is a space for you to let go, sip, and paint, no matter your skill level.
Here is a little bit about what a 'Sip & Paint' workshop is all about. In this video, I answer some common questions and explain why it is such a beautiful creative escape for all ages.
A little introduction to me, Ciya Pawa, the artist behind Soaked in Canvas. What began as a passion project has grown into this wonderful community, and I am so grateful to create and sip with all of you.
I am a mom who decided to chase her childhood dream, and Soaked in Canvas is the result. This video shares a bit of my journey and my passion for bringing people together through art.
About Meet Your Art Guide, Ciya
When you visit my studio at M3M Urbana or book me for a home pop-up, you do not need any art experience. I bring the supplies, the music, and the step-by-step guidance, so you can just show up and de-stress. It is not about painting a gallery piece, it is about getting paint on your fingers and enjoying a couple of hours away from the noise.
Building Soaked in Canvas has been my way of proving that art belongs to everyone, not just those with a degree or natural talent. My journey started in 2021 as a passion project, and now, it has grown into a community where we focus on the process, not just the result.
Whether you visit my studio at M3M Urbana in Sector 67 or have me set up at your home, office, or local cafe, the aim remains the same: a slow, happy experience. I guide you through every step, whether we are working on canvas, painting tote bags, or trying out pottery. You do not need to worry about the setup or the cleanup, as I bring the aprons, easels, and colors. All you need to do is bring your favorite people and a readiness to get a little messy.
It is a perfect escape for birthdays, team outings, or just a Saturday afternoon with friends. We keep the music low, the vibes high, and the pressure nonexistent.
