About Celebrations with Friends & Family
When you host a celebration at our studio, don't expect a demo where you just watch a chef talk. You’ll be at the stove, kneading dough for fresh pasta or simmering a traditional curry, and yes, your kitchen will get messy. We provide the ingredients, the aprons, and handle all the post-cooking cleanup, so your only job is to manage the music, the wine, and the company.
Why Celebrate in a Kitchen?
Food has become a button you press on an app, but real memories are made when you actually put work into a meal. We created Slurp as a secret garden in Indiranagar—a place to leave the city noise behind and get your hands dirty with the people you care about.
What Your Group Will Do
We don't do boring, passive events. Whether you are planning a milestone birthday, an anniversary, or just a Saturday get-together, our team makes sure everyone participates.
- The Process: We guide you through the recipes, whether you want to master Italian handmade pasta or traditional Indian regional curries.
- The Vibe: Our open-air rooftop studio is designed for connection. You cook, you laugh, and then you sit down to eat the meal you created from scratch.
- The Details: We handle everything. Ingredients are sourced fresh, child-safe stations are ready for younger chefs, and we can even set up a candlelight table if it's a romantic celebration.
Logistics & Planning
- Capacity: Our space is best for social groups between 10 to 20 people.
- Beverages: We include a welcome mocktail and hydration station, but you are welcome to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) if you want something specific for your party.
- Cleanup: The best part? We do the dishes. You leave with full stomachs and digital recipe cards, not a mountain of laundry and cleaning.
Slurp Studio
We started Slurp because we saw the connection in Indian food fading away, replaced by apps and instant gratification. We aren't here to lecture you on culinary technique, but to help you feel the magic of making something with your own hands. Come to our studio to cook like your family used to—real, soulful, and absolutely nothing fancy.
