About Cooking Classes & Culinary Courses
Why I Do What I Do
For us, food is more than taste - it's memories, stories, and a way to connect with your roots. Indian food is losing its place. People order what's convenient, forgetting what’s seasonal and local. Hum yeh badalne aaye hain (We’re here to change that).
What Sets Us Apart
- Every class is hands-on. You cook, not just watch. We keep it real - expect to get your hands messy, and yes, sometimes you’ll burn a tadka or two.
- Our chefs are obsessed with the details, but we're chill about mistakes. You learn by doing - in a pro kitchen, with pro gear.
Courses & Classes
- If you want a career, check our professional chef training: 6-week Pre-Professional Certificate, deep-dive regional Indian cuisine workshop, and a 6-month Diploma (City & Guilds affiliated). We cover everything from knife skills to wood-fire ovens.
- Love cooking but not for a career? Our hands-on cooking classes are made for home cooks. Try the Slurp Weekender or drop into a Cuisine Masterclass - one day, one cuisine, full-on fun.
- Need to celebrate or bond with your team? Private cooking events on our Indiranagar rooftop. You cook together, eat together, laugh together.
Where All the Action Happens
- Indiranagar: Rooftop studio for recreational classes and parties.
- Domlur: Culinary Academy for full-time, pro-level learning.
Bajra, johar, ragi - yahi asli khana hai (Millets and lentils, this is real food). Come cook, reconnect, and eat what’s real.

My Story
Food for us? It’s not just taste, it’s memory, it’s home. We see our desi khaana (local food) fading away, replaced by cheese, bread, and all that Western stuff. Feels sad, honestly. That’s why we started Slurp – we want people to feel the magic of forgotten Indian flavours. When you walk into our studio, you step into a little secret garden, leave the city noise behind, and cook like your dadi (grandma) used to. Real, soulful, nothing fancy.
