When we plan these whimsical setups, the backdrop material is the biggest choice you make. I usually use high-quality flex for backdrops because it is cost-effective, but please note that under the bright lights of a banquet hall, you might see faint creases. If you want a perfectly smooth finish for your photos, let me know ahead of time so I can layer it with extra fabric or upgrade you to a shimmer wall.

How I Build the Look
I use a combination of custom-printed backdrops, shimmer walls, and dense balloon garlands to build depth on the stage. For the 'butterfly' look, we incorporate 3D butterfly accents and use soft lavender, pink, and silver balloon palettes. For 'hot air balloon' themes, I build 'clouds' out of blue and white balloons to create the illusion that the stage is floating.
Practical Details
These setups usually take 3 to 4 hours to install on-site. If you are booking a banquet hall or a home setup, keep in mind that I need a clear space to assemble the backdrop frame. I bring my own marquee letters and neon signs, so all I need from you is access to an electrical point near the stage.
Customization
If you want the whimsical look to be extra dense, I can add additional balloon clusters or more character cutouts to fill the space. I use standard glossy latex balloons for these garlands. If you have a specific color theme like pastel peach or mint green, just share a reference photo when you message me. I have done many events across Bengaluru, so I am familiar with most major halls and can advise you on what fits best in your venue space.
