About Solid Hardscaping & Foundations
Most contractors focus on the plants, but we focus on what goes underneath. If a pathway or wall isn't built on a proper 4-inch PCC sub-base, it will sink and crack within two monsoons. We do not just lay bricks; we set a foundation that stays level for years.
A beautiful garden is only as good as the ground it stands on. At Siya Green Creations, we specialize in the heavy work that prevents future maintenance headaches. Whether you need a retaining wall to hold back soil on a slope or a solid foundation for a new gazebo, we use structural techniques that stand the test of time.
Our Core Hardscaping Approach
- Anti-Sinking Foundations: We never cut corners on site preparation. For pathways and decks, we excavate up to 6 inches and lay a 3-inch to 4-inch PCC bed before placing any stone or paver. This prevents the uneven sinking common in local soil.
- Structural Retaining Walls: When creating levels in a garden, we use reinforced masonry walls with deep 3ft RCC footings. We also install PVC weep holes to release groundwater pressure, which stops the wall from bulging or collapsing during heavy rains.
- Durable Materials: We work with high-grade M30 concrete pavers for foot traffic and heavy-gauge MS steel for gazebos and pergolas. Every metal structure is finished with two coats of epoxy primer and automotive-grade paint to prevent rust.
