Live Sitar Orchestra for Events
Our ensemble blends the traditional sitar with flute and percussion to create a soulful, layered sound for your celebrations.
We were honored to perform on this magnificent stage. Our full nine-piece instrumental ensemble is dressed in coordinated attire, ready to create a memorable experience for a grand reception.
The sound of Vedic chants brings a special peace to our music. This performance in Thiruvarur shows close-ups of our musicians playing the sitar, flute, and tabla, creating a soulful, devotional atmosphere.
This is our full ten-member traditional Indian instrumental ensemble. We can scale our group to fit the size and needs of your event, ensuring a rich, symphonic sound for large weddings and functions.
This sitar is my companion. Music is my life and my devotion, a feeling I pour into every performance to share a sense of peace and *bakthi* with the audience.
Before every performance, there is practice and dedication. This is a glimpse into our music studio, where we refine our sound and work together as a team to perfect our instrumental arrangements.
About Featured
Whether you need a 3-piece acoustic setup for an intimate pooja or our full 10-member ensemble to fill a large wedding hall, we scale our instrumentation to match your venue. We handle the musical arrangement for every configuration, ensuring the sound feels perfectly balanced for the space without overpowering your guests' conversations.
Our approach to instrumental music is built on years of practice and a commitment to maintaining the sanctity of Indian classical roots. We perform everywhere from intimate temple programs in places like Thiruvarur to grand corporate receptions in Bengaluru.
Our Musical Range
We do not just play background music. We perform a full symphonic experience that transitions from traditional Vedic chants for rituals to upbeat fusion and popular cinematic instrumentals for celebrations. Our group, the Grand Sitar Symphony, includes sitar, tabla, flute, and keyboard, allowing us to build a rich, layered texture that keeps the atmosphere elegant.
Technical Reality for Your Event
We take our sound seriously. Depending on the ensemble size you book, we require specific stage setups.
- For large ensembles: We need a minimum stage area of 24ft by 12ft and a 90-minute sound check before the event begins to calibrate our digital mixer and monitors.
- For acoustic sets: We keep it simple, requiring only minimal amplification to ensure our traditional instruments, like the Mridangam and Sitar, sound warm and authentic.
We provide coordinated ethnic attire, such as silk kurtas and dhotis, to ensure we look the part for your traditional ceremonies or formal gatherings. Our goal is to bring a sense of peace and professional dedication to every performance, allowing you to focus on your guests while we manage the musical atmosphere.
