It's not just about math problems; it's about helping your child find their focus and confidence. See how our 3-step approach helps makkalu (children) think faster and feel smarter.

Abacus training is not just about getting faster at math. As this graphic shows, it sharpens essential life skills like focus, speed, and logical thinking, which builds a child's overall confidence.

The abacus gives a child's brain the perfect workout. Our program helps them think faster, focus better, remember more, and grow in confidence.

How do we help children? Our program uses three unique tools: Abacus Training for calculation, Brain Gym for cognitive development, and Speed Writing for focus and neatness.

This graphic outlines the essential skills developed through our program. We help remove the fear of math, improve listening skills, and develop a high degree of concentration.

Our program is more than just math; it's a complete brain workout. We focus on developing both the logical left brain and the creative right brain. This balanced approach leads to better memory, problem solving, and overall academic performance.

I always tell my students that smart, consistent practice is the key to brilliance. Just 15 minutes a day with the abacus can ignite your child's genius.

A simple reminder of our goal: to train the brain, sharpen skills, and help every child shine. We are dedicated to building brighter minds every day.

The abacus is a powerful brain development tool. With beads in motion, the brain is in action. Just 15 minutes of daily practice is all it takes to boost speed, memory, and focus.

I use three main tools to help children build their skills. We start with Abacus Training to improve calculation speed, then use Brain Exercises to stimulate the mind, and finally, Speed Writing to enhance focus and handwriting.

This chart shows the many benefits of abacus training, from improving concentration and memory to boosting self confidence and academic performance. It's a holistic development tool.

About How Abacus Builds a Better Brain

When I teach, it’s not just about the numbers. We use the Abacus for calculation, Brain Gym to wake up both sides of the brain, and speed writing exercises to keep their hand steady. It’s a complete 3-part routine that helps children in Basavanagudi stop counting on their fingers and start trusting their own minds.

Parents often tell me their children get scared of math. They count on their fingers, take too long, and get frustrated. That's why I focus on the whole brain, not just the math part.

The Abacus is our first tool. When kids move the beads, they aren't just doing math; they are creating a visual picture of numbers in their heads. Eventually, they don't even need the tool.

Then comes Brain Gym. These are small movements—like cross-crawl exercises—that get the left and right brain talking to each other. This is crucial for concentration.

Finally, we do speed writing. It sounds simple, but it’s about focus. If a child can write neatly and quickly, their mind is calmer, and they don't panic during school exams.

My team, Annapoorna and Nagaratna, have been with me for over a decade. We see the same pattern: a shy kid enters, practices 15 minutes a day, and three months later, they are standing on stage holding a trophy. Whether your child is 6 or 12, this process works.

I'm Shobha, and I run the SIP Abacus center here in Basavanagudi. My team and I see children walk in feeling nervous about numbers and walk out winning competitions. We believe every child is a genius if we just show them how to find their way.
