About The Art of Bandhani & Banarasi
We combine 12-16 panel construction with double-layered can-can to ensure your lehenga maintains perfect, regal volume throughout your event. Each ensemble is tailored to your specific measurements over a period of 20 to 25 days, blending traditional Banarasi silk borders with precise, hand-finished detailing.
Our Bandhani and Banarasi collection represents a thoughtful union of India's most storied textile traditions. By pairing the vibrant, light-hearted nature of Bandhani tie-dye with the structured, luxurious weight of Banarasi brocade, we create pieces that feel inherently regal yet entirely modern.
The Design Philosophy
Every lehenga and saree in this collection is built on the concept of wearable heritage. The Banarasi borders provide a grounded, traditional frame, while the Bandhani patterns introduce movement and color. This contrast is intentional, designed for weddings, sangeet ceremonies, and high-profile celebrations where you want your attire to make an impression without feeling heavy or dated.
Construction and Fit
We prioritize structure. Our bridal lehengas feature 12 to 16 panel construction. This design choice ensures a 5 to 6 meter flare that retains its shape from the start of your function to the end. We incorporate double-layered can-can and canvas stiffening in the hem, which gives the skirt an umbrella-like silhouette. The blouses are fully padded, lined, and finished with heavy machine embroidery to complement the richness of the silk fabrics.
Personalization
Because these pieces are made-to-order, every element is considered. We work with premium semi-silk and raw silk blends that hold structure well. Whether you are looking for a classic red and gold combination or a modern olive green and magenta pairing, the customization process allows you to select the colors and motifs that reflect your personal style. We invite you to visit our studio in Jigani, Bengaluru, to feel the fabric and discuss your vision for your special day.
