When I design these modern backdrops, I focus on the balance between structure and floral density. For our popular 8ft circular rings, I use a high-quality mix of artificial blooms to maintain the shape throughout the day, accented with fresh marigold strings and jasmine buds to give you that real fragrance and texture you want for your Haldi.
Modern setups are all about clean lines and thoughtful details. Unlike traditional floor-to-ceiling drapes, these floral backdrops—whether it is a circular frame, a geometric arch, or a lush green foliage wall—create a focused, professional look that stands out in your event photography.
I usually work with two main configurations. The first is a compact 8ft setup designed for indoor spaces or home balconies, which fits perfectly into standard Navi Mumbai apartments. The second is a broader 15 to 20ft installation, better suited for outdoor lawns or larger venues where we can incorporate more traditional elements like brass bells, urlis, or even a jhula.
For your Haldi or engagement, the choice of flowers makes a massive difference. While I use high-grade artificial flowers for the primary structure to ensure consistency, I always layer in fresh Genda (marigold) and Rajnigandha (tuberose) strings. This gives you the best of both worlds: a perfect, lasting shape for your photos and the fresh, traditional fragrance that sets the mood for the rituals.
