About Handmade Bags & Accessories
For my bags, I use a mix of durable acrylic and thick cotton yarn, adding a stitched cotton or satin inner lining to the higher-end pieces. This ensures they don't just look pretty but hold their shape and stand up to daily use. Since I make these by hand, you can pick your own colors and patterns to match your personal style.
I have been working with yarn since 1985, and for me, crochet is about more than just a finished product, it is about the calm that comes with every stitch. When it comes to handbags and accessories, I focus on balancing style with practical durability.
My Handmade Collection
- Sling Bags: These are perfect for quick errands. I often use the granny square pattern for a classic, bohemian look. They are light but strong enough to carry your phone, wallet, and keys.
- Totes: For days when you need to carry a bit more, my crochet totes are designed with reinforced straps. I use thick, high-quality yarn so they don't stretch out of shape with regular use.
- Potli Bags: These are my go-to for traditional outfits. I make them with secure drawstring closures and tassels, adding an inner lining so your small items stay safe inside.
- Hair Accessories: From colorful bows to floral rubber bands, these are small, fun pieces that add a handmade touch to your look.
Customization & Care
Because everything is made to order, you have full control over the design. If you see a bag you like but want it in a different color palette, just let me know. I also focus on the little details, like sturdy closures and quality inner linings for my slings and totes, to make sure your accessory lasts. While these are durable, I always recommend a gentle hand wash to keep the yarn fresh and vibrant. If you are in Goregaon East, you can pick up your order directly from my studio, or I can ship it to you anywhere in India.
