About Featured
I rely on my Sony Alpha system paired with 85mm prime lenses to capture that signature background blur, while using strobes for studio shoots to ensure every detail of your traditional jewelry stands out. We prioritize real interaction over stiff posing, which is why I often coordinate with makeup artists beforehand to align the final look with the concept we are shooting.
My approach to photography is rooted in the belief that a portrait should be more than just a picture. Whether it is a Navratri Devi concept or a classic Marathi Mulgi shoot, I focus on the intersection of emotion, tradition, and light.
For conceptual sessions, we spend time in pre-shoot planning to finalize the set design and props. I use color gels and advanced lighting setups to create dramatic, painting-like visuals, especially for my mythological or fine art series. When shooting outdoors, I chase the soft, natural light of golden hour to enhance the textures of silk sarees and traditional attire.
My work covers a wide spectrum of cultural expressions. I enjoy the challenge of adapting to different regional aesthetics, from the subtle elegance of a Bengali bride to the vibrant colors of a South Indian silk saree. If you are planning an individual portrait or a couple shoot, we can mix and match styles to create something that feels entirely yours. My goal is to deliver images that retain a cinematic feel while capturing the raw, unposed beauty of the moment. We usually start with a conversation about your vision, select the location or studio setup, and work together to bring that narrative to life through the lens.
