When you come to our Khar studio, we do not just take measurements. We look at your natural posture, the way you carry your shoulders, and your movement. A wedding outfit needs to look as sharp at the end of the night as it did when you first put it on. We use half-canvas construction even for our traditional wear, which allows the jacket or sherwani to drape naturally rather than feeling stiff. This method ensures that the garment molds to your frame over time.

Material and Detailing

We select fabrics based on the Indian climate and the specific nature of your event. For daytime weddings or summer ceremonies, we favor breathable linens and high-count cottons that maintain structure without retaining heat. For evening receptions, we utilize premium wool blends that provide a rich, deep texture. Details like hand-rolled lapels, working cuff buttons, and reinforced collars are standard because they add to the longevity and elegance of the piece.

How We Collaborate

1. Consultation: We discuss your event, your personal style, and the 60-30-10 rule for color coordination. This ensures your outfit balances with the theme of the wedding without being flashy.
2. Design & Sketching: We sketch the silhouette, focusing on cut and proportion.
3. Trials: We require two physical fittings, including a baste trial. This is where we correct for shoulder slope, waist suppression, and sleeve pitch to ensure the garment sits perfectly.
4. Final Delivery: Each piece is ready in 4 to 5 weeks, allowing time for the garment to settle.
