About Custom Blazers, Vests & Shackets
A shacket, or shirt-jacket, is often the most versatile item in a man's wardrobe, but finding one that holds its shape is a challenge. We construct ours with the same technical precision as our formal jackets, using piped seams and custom-cut patterns so it moves with you rather than hanging flat against your frame.
When you choose a custom-made jacket or shacket, you are investing in a pattern drafted to your unique posture. We start by analyzing your shoulder slope and posture, then apply the 60-30-10 rule to ensure colors and textures are balanced correctly.
The Construction
For our blazers, we use half-canvas internals. This choice is deliberate, as it allows the chest piece to mold to your body over time, providing a fit that feels more natural with every wear. The jacket develops its own character the more you use it. For lighter, summer-ready pieces, we offer unlined or soft-tailored constructions in linen and seersucker that remain breathable while maintaining a clean, sharp silhouette.
The Process
Building a garment takes 4 to 5 weeks. This time includes 1 to 2 physical fittings. These sessions are where we refine the waist suppression and sleeve pitch, making adjustments that cannot be done off the rack. Whether you need a structured wool blazer for a formal event or a relaxed suede vest for daily wear, our studio in Khar, Mumbai, is where we translate your ideas into a finished piece.
