Home Puja and Satsang Floral Decor Setup
Decor Elements
- Deity Backdrop: 2 to 3 panels of sheer or satin drapes in custom colors like pink, yellow, or white placed behind the main idol or photo.
- Floral Adornments: A mix of 10 to 15 kg of local fresh flowers like roses, marigolds, and sunflowers combined with reusable artificial vines.
- Floral Rangoli: A 3x3 ft floor rangoli made entirely of fresh flower petals shaped into spiritual motifs like Om or Swastik.
- Furniture Camouflage: Host's existing sofa or diwan draped with traditional fabrics to create a respectful seating area for the deity.
Props and Lighting
- Traditional Brass Props: Rental of 2 standard sized water bowls (Urlis) and 2 tall traditional brass diyas.
- Ambient Lighting: Warm LED fairy lights woven into the drapes and floral arrangements.
Operations
- Setup and Teardown: Complete installation and dismantling by a 2 person team. Client must provide a standard ladder if ceiling attachments are needed.
- Transport: Conveyance of materials within standard city limits included.
Devotional Themed Milestone Party Decor
Main Stage Decor
- Themed Flex Backdrop: An 8x8 ft or 10x8 ft printed flex backdrop stretched over a sturdy frame with custom illustrations of themes like Bal Hanuman or Krishna.
- Balloon Garlands: Asymmetrical arches and clusters made from 300 plus premium latex and metallic balloons matching the theme colors.
- Character Cutouts: 3 to 4 freestanding 3 foot tall sun board cutouts featuring theme related characters.
- Cake Table: Standard table draping accented with balloon clusters and themed bunting.
Entry and Props
- Baby Entry Prop: Rental of a floral and balloon adorned entry prop like a traditional Palki or decorative carriage.
- Welcome Display: A wooden or metallic easel stand at the venue entrance holding a personalized welcome board and decorated with balloon bunches.
Logistics
- Execution: Complete installation by a professional decor team completed 1 hour prior to the event. Venue permissions and ladder arrangements are managed by the client.
- Inclusions: Covers taxes, labor, and conveyance within standard operation areas.

Decor and Seating
- Main Darbar Setup: An elevated 8x10 ft backdrop for deities featuring traditional draping, heavy marigold and rose garlands, and focused halogen lighting.
- Floor Seating: Traditional floor seating for 50 to 70 guests using 20 to 25 thick mattresses covered with white bedsheets and front row bolsters.
Entertainment and Audio
- Live Bhajan Mandali: A 4 piece local devotional music group including a lead singer, harmonium player, dholak player, and chorus performing for 3 to 4 hours.
- Jhanki Performance: 1 costumed artist performing a specialized tableau or dance relevant to the event.
- Professional Sound System: Complete PA system with 2 top speakers, an audio mixer, monitor speakers, and 4 to 5 wired or wireless microphones with stands.
Management
- On Site Coordination: A dedicated coordinator to manage event flow, artist timings, and sound checks.
- Logistics: Transportation, loading, and unloading of all equipment, decor, and artists within standard city limits. Food catering and return gifts are explicitly excluded.

Why I Do This
For me, every religious event is a way to connect with faith. I don’t just plan events, I try to create a space where you feel shanti (peace) and a sense of belonging. When someone says, "Event inhone kaafi accha organise karwaya," I know I’ve done my job right.
Festivals & Devotional Setups
I love bringing festivals alive, whether it’s Ganesh Chaturthi with floral rings and Pichwai backdrops, or Diwali with marigold garlands and hundreds of diyas. For Lohri, I add that Punjabi touch with dhol motifs and even Gajak hampers. Navratri, Ram Navmi, Maha Shivratri - every festival gets its own vibe, with traditional festival decor themes that match your faith.
Spiritual Gatherings
Guruji Satsang, Sunderkand Path event setup, Mata ki Chowki - these are close to my heart. I focus on floral rangolis, soft lighting, and seating that lets you just sit back and soak in the bhakti (devotion). If you want, I can arrange Hanuman ji’s jhanki or devotional music groups too.
Devotion with a Twist
Family events with a devotional theme? I’ve done Bal Hanuman birthdays with balloons and cutouts, Krishna-Yashoda baby showers with purple-gold decor, and more. It’s all about blending tradition with a bit of fun.
My Seva
I handle everything - custom decoration, vendor management, and even customized devotional hampers or return gifts. My goal is to make it stress-free so you can focus on your prayers and guests.

Hi, I’m Kiran Malhotra. People call me the ‘celebration wali aunty’ sometimes, and honestly, I don’t mind! My life runs on creativity, faith, and a little bit of madness. Shriji Events N Decor is my way to mix devotion with dhol (fun). I love planning everything from Navratri setups to wild Harry Potter birthday parties. If you see kids screaming ‘best party ever’ or aunties smiling at the decor, bas, mera kaam ho gaya (my job is done).
