About Baby Shower & Dohale Jevan Setups
I build most of my props in my own workshop, from the floral swings to those 'Kunitari Yenar' cutouts you see in the photos. For me, decoration is about 'anandachya kshanat' (moments of happiness). When it comes to Dohale Jevan or a baby shower, the setup needs to be welcoming and culturally rooted.
My approach usually starts with the focal point, which is often a traditional 'Jhula' (swing) wrapped in artificial floral garlands and drapes. I often add specific Marathi elements like the 'Kunitari Yenar' (someone is coming) sign or traditional 'Samai' lamps to give it that authentic, festive vibe.
If you prefer something more modern, I also do contemporary backdrops with shimmer walls, organic balloon arches, and customized name reveals. Since I own my production unit, I don't rely on readymade items. If you want a specific peacock theme or a crescent moon setup, I can fabricate it to match your venue dimensions.
