Professional Attack and Protection Dog Training
Real protection isn't about aggression, it's about control. I teach high-drive working breeds to handle high-stakes security threats while remaining entirely under your command.
This video shows a Belgian Malinois engaging in controlled bite work with a protective sleeve at night. I train for a firm, confident grip and a quick release on command, which is essential for protection and law enforcement scenarios.
Here, a Belgian Malinois demonstrates alertness and control during a night training session. The dog is ready to act on command, showcasing the discipline required for professional protection work.
About Attack and Protection Training
The most important part of protection training is not the bite; it is the 'Out' command. I train dogs to engage immediately on a threat, but they must release instantly when you say so. This discipline is what turns a high-drive dog into a reliable security partner rather than a liability.
Protection training is reserved for dogs with the right nerve and drive. I work primarily with breeds like Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds because they possess the focus required for these tasks. We do not just teach dogs to bite; we teach them to identify real threats versus harmless distractions.
My program covers the full spectrum of high-stakes security work:
- Bite Development: We start with soft sleeves to build confidence, progressing to hard sleeves and eventually equipment-free civil agitation. This teaches the dog to target effectively even if an attacker is not wearing a training suit.
- Command Control: The attack command is useless without an immediate release. Your dog learns to switch from high-drive aggression to calm obedience in a split second.
- Night Operations: Security threats often happen after dark. We train in low-light conditions to ensure your dog is as effective at 2 AM as they are at noon.
- Stress Inoculation: I expose dogs to loud noises, shouting, and physical pressure so they do not panic when things get chaotic.
This training is not for every dog. I perform a mandatory stability evaluation before accepting any canine into this program. If the dog lacks the mental nerve to handle this pressure, we do not force it. My goal is to produce a safe, reliable protector for your home or business.
