This handcrafted clay mural of the poet-saint Kanaka Dasa is one of my specialties. I sculpt the figures directly onto the wall, creating a three-dimensional piece with deep texture and shadow that brings the story to life.
Art is a powerful tool for teaching. Here you can see my work for the 'Sarkari Shaale Ulisi Abhiyaana' where we painted murals with themes like environmental protection, bringing joy and important messages to the children.
I love creating bold, impactful portraits. This large-scale mural of Che Guevara was painted on a compound wall, transforming a simple surface into a powerful statement piece with vibrant colors and strong details.
Using traditional Indian art forms like Warli, I tell timeless stories. This mural depicts Kamadhenu, the sacred cow, in the classic, minimalist Warli style, bringing a sense of heritage and peace to the space.
Art can also be a performance. This video shows a live speed painting I did on stage, creating a portrait of the sage Valmiki upside down and revealing it to the audience with a splash of gold dust.
Every project begins with a line and a vision. This is the process of painting a large portrait of Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar, showing the careful brushwork and layering required to capture a likeness on a grand scale.
For me, the work is not complete until I see the smiles it brings. Standing with these bright young students in front of their newly painted government school is the greatest reward for my art.

My process begins by understanding your space, whether it is a school boundary wall or a feature wall in your home. I use professional weather-proof emulsion for exterior murals to withstand the elements, and artist-grade acrylics for interior detailing. When we connect, we can decide if you need the textured depth of a hand-sculpted clay mural or the clean, storytelling impact of traditional Warli patterns.
Every wall has a story, and my job is to help that story emerge. Whether I am painting a portrait on a community wall or creating a live sketch at a wedding, I approach the canvas with the same dedication I learned making clay idols as a boy.
My Approach to Murals
I specialise in several distinct styles, each requiring different materials and prep work. For exterior projects, I rely on Asian Paints Apex or equivalent weather-resistant emulsion, ensuring the art stands up to sun and rain. My school mural projects, often done for the 'Sarkari Shaale Ulisi Abhiyaana', focus on themes of environmental protection and education, turning plain surfaces into learning tools.
Handcrafted Clay Murals
My signature work involves sculpting directly onto walls or boards using specialized mural clay. This adds a 3D dimension, where figures project up to 3 inches from the surface. These pieces are reinforced with fiber mesh and finished with metallic dry-brushing to create a timeless, antique feel.
Portraits and Live Art
For portraits, I use a grid-scaling technique to ensure anatomical accuracy. For events, I offer live speed painting and glitter art. These sessions are interactive and designed to keep guests engaged. I travel across Karnataka for all these projects, bringing my art directly to your doorstep.
