About Custom Portrait Mehendi

We use fine-tip needles to ensure the facial features look like you, not just generic patterns. Because capturing detailed portraits and wedding scenes takes between 5 to 9 hours of continuous work, I suggest scheduling your session on a day when you can sit comfortably without other major wedding events overlapping.

My approach to portrait mehendi is about narrative. Whether it is a replica of your first proposal, your wedding skyline, or a formal couple portrait, my goal is precision. To achieve this, I use a specialized fine-tip needle technique that allows for the shading and intricate detailing that standard henna cones simply cannot produce.

Why natural henna matters

Since portrait and story mehendi require significantly longer sitting times—often half a day—I use strictly 100% natural, chemical-free henna. It is safer for your skin, ensuring no reactions during or after the long application process, especially when covering large areas from your fingertips up to your shoulders or knees.

Customization options

  • Portraits: I can create individual faces or full-body couple depictions based on the photos you provide.
  • Scenes: The Doli, Baraat, Pheras, or your Varmala ceremony can be illustrated directly onto your forearms.
  • Personal Touches: I regularly incorporate wedding dates, official hashtags, or symbols reflecting your professions or shared interests.

I am based in Mumbai, but my team and I travel across Maharashtra and the rest of India for weddings. If you want your mehendi to be a visual record of your ceremony rather than just traditional patterns, we can discuss the specifics of your story during the initial consultation.
