Loved working with my artist buddy from Auroville, making a huge ceramic mural with Indian everyday stuff. Collaborating with local craftsmen on things like mother-of-pearl jaali work is what gives a place its vibe. The magazine features are nice, sure, but nothing beats a client coming back after 15 years. That’s the real win.
