Celebrating Three Years of She By The Snout
Looking back at three years of wagging tails, lessons learned from every dog I’ve met, and the trust you’ve placed in me to keep your pups safe while you’re away.
Celebrating three wonderful years of She By The Snout. It has been an incredible journey of meeting and caring for so many amazing dogs.
A reflection on three years of learning from different dog personalities and watching them turn into friends. This feeling is what makes me want to do more and more.
A huge thank you to all the pet parents for trusting me with your dogs, and an even bigger thank you to the dogs for trusting me.
As my service grows, I sometimes look for new teammates. This shows my commitment to expanding my ability to help more families.
When looking for help, my standards are high. This graphic outlines the qualities I look for in a potential teammate.
I believe any caregiver must have hands-on experience, whether as a primary caretaker, a rescue volunteer, or in another professional capacity.
A great caregiver must be able to follow detailed instructions for walks, food, and any medical supervision a dog may require.
About this collection
When I look back at these last three years, the most important lesson hasn’t been about boarding logistics, but about the 'meet and greet.' That first sit-down with you and your dog is non-negotiable for me—it’s where I learn the specific quirks, anxieties, and routines that turn a standard stay into a stress-free experience for your pet.
Three years ago, She By The Snout started with a simple idea: that dogs deserve better than a cold kennel when their parents are away. It wasn’t about building a 'facility'—it was about creating a home. Over these years in Bengaluru, I’ve learned that every dog is an individual. A rescue pup with separation anxiety needs a different kind of calm than a Golden Retriever with endless energy.
My approach has always been about continuity. I’ve shifted from just 'sitting' to truly understanding. That is why my home dog boarding at Metta Dog Homestay is strictly cage-free. Whether it’s managing complex medication schedules, helping a reactive dog navigate leash aggression, or simply knowing when a pup needs space, my focus is on mirroring their life at home. Your dog’s schedule—their meal times, potty habits, and comfort spots—is the schedule we follow. I don't use crates because I want them to feel like they are staying with a friend, not a caretaker. I am still that person who gets butterflies before a new meet, and that excitement keeps me focused on getting better every single day. If you are looking for pet care that prioritizes your dog's mental well-being alongside their physical needs, let’s talk.
Aditi
I’m Aditi, and honestly, every new dog I meet feels like starting fresh. I’ve spent the last three years unlearning and relearning what dogs actually need, skipping flights to meet trainers, and getting butterflies before every single meet-and-greet.
