A showcase of my favorite bridal stories, from intricate Indian patterns to personalized designs that bring your memories to life using organic henna.

This is the kind of full bridal henna I am truly passionate about. This design for Harshita included traditional palace architecture on one arm and a royal elephant on the other, creating a grand and symmetrical look for her wedding day.

I love it when a bride's henna tells a personal story. For this bride, we included Cafe Coffee Day logos and coffee cups to celebrate the sweet memories she and her partner shared over coffee. It’s these unique touches that make your bridal mehendi truly yours.

Many brides are now choosing bold and beautiful Arabic henna designs. This style uses flowing floral and paisley patterns with more open space, creating an elegant and modern look that extends from the palms to the forearms.

The final stain is the most important part. This is the beautiful, deep reddish-brown color you can expect from my handmade, 100% organic henna paste after it has fully matured. No chemicals, just pure, natural color.

Come along for a full bridal henna session with the lovely Harshita. I incorporated her special dates and favorite motifs like the peacock and lotus into her design. It was a joy to be part of such a happy mehendi function with all her family and friends.

For me, applying henna is a peaceful and focused process. Here is a close-up look at my handiwork, showing the steady application of fine lines and intricate patterns that bring a complex design to life.

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing a happy bride. Here is the beautiful Shahana, all smiles on her big day, with her henna stain looking rich and dark against her gorgeous velvet lehenga.

Your love story can be the centerpiece of your henna. This engagement mehendi features a silhouette of the couple inside a heart, surrounded by delicate roses and a heartbeat motif on the wrist.

About Featured

I do not follow standard catalogs, so you will not find two identical hands in my portfolio. Whether it is a silhouette of your first coffee date or traditional palace architecture, I draft these layouts from scratch to ensure your henna is as unique as your wedding day. Let's talk about what personal details you want to weave into your design.

How I Build Your Design

When you see these designs, you are seeing a process that starts days before I even pick up a cone. I source Sojat powder and mix my own organic paste using essential oils to ensure the deep, dark maroon stain that my brides love. For me, the beauty is not just in the lines, but in what those lines represent.

Telling Your Story

My work often centers on what makes your relationship yours. If you want to include coffee logos, wedding dates, or silhouettes of your proposal, I map these out on your hands before I begin the intricate filler work. This is not just applying henna; it is about creating a visual narrative on your skin.

My Approach to Coverage

  • Traditional Indian: I focus on symmetry, using grids, peacocks, and floral mandalas that extend up to your elbows. These are dense and take patience, but the result is a classic bridal look.
  • Modern Arabic: These designs use more negative space and bold floral vines. It is a fantastic option if you prefer something elegant that feels lighter on the skin.
  • Fusion Styles: Many brides choose a mix of both. We can use the open-flow style of Arabic henna for your forearms while keeping the palms filled with traditional motifs.

What to Expect

I come to your home in Bangalore, so you can relax while I work. Because I use 100% natural ingredients, the color takes about 24 to 48 hours to fully mature. I always provide a lemon-sugar sealant and aftercare instructions, so you get the best possible stain for your wedding celebrations.

I am Shahina, and I see henna as a quiet, creative space to tell your story. I am based in Bangalore and prefer working with my own 100% organic henna because nothing beats that natural, deep maroon stain. When I am not sketching intricate grids or floral vines, I am usually obsessing over getting the right tone for a bride's special day.
