Handcrafted Bridal Henna & Intricate Designs
A selection of my favourite bridal henna designs, where every motif tells a personal story. From intricate portraits to meaningful traditional symbols, explore the artistry I bring to your special day.
This full bridal henna tells a family's story. On one arm, I created a portrait of the bride with her mother, and on the other, a portrait of her with her father and sister, capturing a precious family bond forever in her wedding mehndi.
For this bride, including her parents in the design was essential. I depicted the emotional Kanyadaan ritual on her palms and a portrait of the couple on her forearms, creating a complete narrative of her wedding journey.
Henna isn't just for brides. I love creating special designs for grooms, like these matching portraits that celebrate the couple's union from his perspective.
I was honored to create this design based on the "14 Swapna," the sacred dreams in Jain tradition. Each symbol was carefully drawn to represent its spiritual meaning, making this a truly unique and blessed bridal henna.
Bridal feet henna requires just as much detail and artistry. This design features traditional elephants and lotus motifs, creating a symmetrical and elegant look perfect for a bride's grand entrance.
Adding personal phrases is one of my favorite ways to customize a design. This bride chose "Papa ki Laadli" (Father's Darling) and "Pyaar ka Aadhar" (Foundation of Love) to express her feelings.
The magic of natural henna is in its journey. This video shows how the stain matures over 35 hours, transforming from a light orange to a deep, rich maroon. Patience is the key to a beautiful, dark henna stain.
About this collection
Good things take time, and with my 100% natural henna, the best stain requires patience. My process involves using fresh, homemade cones mixed with eucalyptus oil and a lemon-sugar sealant, ensuring a deep maroon colour that fully develops over 35 hours. Please plan your booking at least a day before your main event to allow the colour to reach its peak richness.
This collection showcases the heart of my work—moving beyond standard patterns to create henna that holds real significance for you. I specialise in storytelling, whether that means drawing a detailed portrait of you and your partner, hiding names in the design, or incorporating religious symbols like the Jain 14 Swapna or traditional Bengali Alta.
My approach is entirely collaborative. We sit down to discuss your story and decide how to weave those specific elements into your bridal look. I do not use chemical cones or shortcuts. Everything you see here—the deep maroon stain, the intricate lattice work, and the fine bridal portraits—is achieved with fresh, organic henna paste that I mix myself using Nilgiri oil.
Because I work with natural products, the stain starts light and darkens over 35 to 48 hours. This natural maturation is a hallmark of my work. Whether you are looking for dense, full-arm bridal coverage that reaches the elbows, minimalist designs with negative space, or even matching portraits for the groom, I approach every session as a fresh canvas.

I'm Komal, and I believe your mehendi should be as unique as your wedding day. I spend hours hand-mixing my organic henna and sketching stories on hands because, for me, this is more than a service—it is therapy. Let's sit, laugh, and create something beautiful together.
