Structural Integrity for Outdoors

When working in open lawns across Delhi NCR, the biggest challenge is not the aesthetic, it is the physical stability. I use commercial-grade truss systems, not just bamboo, to ensure backdrops and ceiling drapes hold up even in breezy conditions. My goal is to ensure the setup looks as good at the end of the night as it did when the first guest arrived.

Lighting Strategy

Lighting an outdoor venue is a different game. At sunset, I shift from natural daylight to warm halogen and fairy light layering. For evening events, I often install hanging chandeliers from existing tree branches or truss frames to create an intimate banquet hall feel in the open air. This adds depth to the space without needing walls.

The Fresh Flower Promise

Many decorators use plastic foliage for outdoor setups because it is easier and cheaper. I stick to fresh marigold, roses, and seasonal flowers, even for large-scale outdoor arches. It requires a dedicated maintenance team to keep them hydrated throughout the event, but the scent and look of real flowers cannot be faked.

Logistics & Timing

Outdoor setups are labor-intensive. I require a minimum 4-hour window for installation to ensure everything from the red carpet to the final centerpiece is perfectly aligned. If your venue has specific grass protection guidelines or power limitations, I factor those in during our initial walkthrough so there are no surprises.
