This is the essence of my lace-work: a wide cuff bracelet handcrafted from 18k yellow gold. The metal is woven and textured to mimic the delicate intricacy of Chantilly lace, with diamonds adding a subtle sparkle.

About Gold Woven Like Lace
The secret behind this lace effect is a precise wire-weaving technique that mimics the transparency of fabric. Even with large statement cuffs or shoulder-duster earrings, the metal is structurally engineered to be exceptionally light. This ensures you can wear these pieces comfortably for hours without the heaviness typically associated with solid gold jewellery.
The 'Gold Woven Like Lace' technique stems from a desire to make precious metal move and breathe like fabric. I use a multi-step filigree process where 18k gold wire is hand-formed to replicate the floral and geometric motifs of Chantilly lace. It is a slow, meditative method. Each piece requires hours of soldering and texturing to ensure the structure is both durable and incredibly light.
Unlike traditional heavy gold sets, these pieces are designed for the modern woman who values intricate design but refuses to compromise on comfort. Whether it is a wide wrist cuff or a 4-inch shoulder-duster, the weight profile is kept under 12 grams for most designs. I work exclusively out of my Mumbai studio, where I meet clients for one-on-one appointments.
