Progress in our dojo is earned, not given. Each Kyu grading is a formal assessment of technique, discipline, and the sincerity a student brings to their training.

A student proudly holds his certificate after a successful grading examination. These events are an important part of our training, marking milestones in a student's journey and reinforcing the value of perseverance.

I present a certificate to a student, formally acknowledging her successful completion of her Kyu grading requirements. Each certificate is a testament to the effort and focus she has invested in her training.

Here is another student who has demonstrated the required proficiency in his kata and techniques to advance in rank. It is my privilege to guide students on this path and witness their growth.

This image captures the formal moment of recognizing a student's progress. The certificate represents not just a new rank, but the embodiment of the Dojo Kun principles of effort and sincerity.

The serious expression of this student reflects the focus required during a grading. I am presenting him with his official certificate from the International Shorin-Ryu Seibukan Karate association.

A student receives her well earned certificate in front of the official banner of our organization. This signifies her connection to a worldwide community dedicated to traditional Okinawan martial arts.

About Dedication and Achievement

A grading exam here is a physical and technical test of your Kata and weapon proficiency, not a formality. You will spend 1 to 2 hours under evaluation to demonstrate that your skills meet the international Jinbukan Kobudo standards before any rank is awarded.
