The Weapons of Kobudo

My instruction focuses on the core weapons of Okinawan Kobudo, primarily the six-foot Bo staff and the Tonfa. Training emphasizes correct form, footwork, and mental focus through the practice of traditional kata.

Dedication and Achievement

Progress in Kobudo is earned through discipline and consistent effort. I conduct formal Kyu gradings where students demonstrate their skills and are awarded certificates to recognize their hard work and advancement in the art.

Our Lineage: The Heart of Okinawan Kobudo

I teach authentic Jinbukan Kobudo, a discipline passed down directly from the masters in Okinawa. My training is under Grand Master Zenpo Shimabukuro of the Shorin-ryu Seibukan family, ensuring you learn the true art, not a modern interpretation.
