About Satyug Rising Stars: Our Annual Competition
Participating in Satyug Rising Stars is about more than just the trophy. It gives our students the essential experience of handling stage nerves and performing under professional auditorium lighting. We treat this as the ultimate practical test for the techniques and choreography our students master during daily classes at our Ramesh Nagar studio.
From Studio Practice to Stage Performance
Every year, we take our training beyond the walls of our Ramesh Nagar studio. Satyug Rising Stars is designed to bridge the gap between classroom practice and professional stage performance. Whether a student is learning Kathak, Bollywood, or Hip Hop, this competition provides a controlled, encouraging environment to face an audience and perform with confidence.
Why This Competition Matters
We believe that art, or kala, is a sadhana (spiritual practice). Standing on a stage at a venue like the Aiwan e-Ghalib Auditorium is a milestone for our students. It forces them to focus on the nuances of their tatkar (footwork) and abhinaya (expressions) when it truly counts. With over 200 participants from across the region, it is not just about winning; it is about learning from fellow artists and receiving constructive feedback from our expert jury.
Who Can Participate?
This event is open to our existing students and performers from other schools who want to test their skills. We categorize performances by age and style, ensuring that everyone from children to young adults gets a fair opportunity to showcase their dedication. It is a vibrant day of music, dance, and community that highlights what we do best: nurturing the love for art in every heart.
