This quote really speaks to me. My mission is to nurture that 'outside the box' thinking from the very beginning by encouraging children to see beyond the lines and express themselves freely. True creativity has no boundaries.
This is the essence of process art. I encourage kids and adults to let go of expectations and simply enjoy the feeling of the paint, the texture of the paper, and the magic that happens when you surrender to your own creativity.
Art is one of the best ways to practice letting go of the fear of failure. In my sessions and with my kits, every attempt is a success because the goal is to experiment, learn, and enjoy the act of making.
