The Science of a Soothing Clinic
A dental or wellness clinic needs to be two things at once: a highly functional machine and a calm retreat. When we design these spaces, we start with the workflow. We analyze how you and your assistant move around the chair, ensuring that everything from the handpiece to the sterilization zone is within reach, yet neatly tucked away.
Material Matters
Hygiene is non-negotiable. We use high-gloss, non-porous surfaces like Corian for reception counters and BWP (Boiling Water Proof) marine-grade plywood for cabinetry. These materials are built to withstand heavy cleaning protocols while looking sharp. For flooring, we often recommend vitrified tiles or heavy-duty vinyl that hides traffic marks but wipes clean in seconds.
Lighting That Heals
Clinical lighting can feel harsh. We use a dual-layer approach. You get high-CRI (Color Rendering Index) task lighting over the dental chair for precision, paired with 3000K warm cove lighting in the waiting area. This subtle contrast helps patients decompress, reducing the anxiety often associated with medical appointments.
