About Storytelling & PlayArt Parties
These sessions go beyond typical reading hours. When we host a themed event like The Gruffalo, we combine theatre-inspired circle time with giant floor mural painting using toxin-free art supplies. Every ticket covers one child and one parent, so come prepared to get messy alongside your little one.
Our PlayArt parties are designed to turn passive reading into an active, multi-sensory experience. We believe that when children connect a story to tactile activities, their engagement increases significantly.
How a session works
- Interactive Circle Time: We start with movement, music, and dramatic storytelling to get the kids immersed in the book's world.
- Messy Art: We break out the toxin-free paints and large canvases. Whether it is wall mural painting or finger painting, the focus is on the process rather than the result.
- Parent-Child Connection: Unlike drop-off classes, our parties are built for you to participate. You are painting, singing, and exploring right next to your child.
We provide all the necessary materials, from aprons to non-toxic colors, so you do not need to bring a thing. These events are hosted at our Koramangala location and often include a certificate and a goody bag for the participants. We are Sapna Sparkz, a creative space born from Sapna Book House. We believe books are just the start, so we mix them with messy paint, character meet-and-greets, and lots of laughter to create memories you will actually want to keep.
