Wedding Detail Photography in Bengaluru
The small moments often tell the biggest stories. I focus on the intricate details that make your wedding day uniquely yours.
A creative diptych showcasing the intricate design of the bridal necklace and earrings against natural elements.
A collage of the bride's reception details, featuring her stunning jewelry set and the elegant lehenga.
A beautiful flat lay and detail shots of the bride's reception jewelry and gown.
A creative shot focusing on the bride's intricate henna design and traditional bangles.
A close-up of the toe ring ritual, a significant and symbolic detail in a South Indian wedding.
A stunning detail shot of the traditional gold wedding jewelry, beautifully arranged on a bed of red roses.
A collage of symbolic wedding details, including the sacred thread (thali) and other ritual items.
About this collection
For these shots to look their best, I typically need about 20 minutes in a quiet corner before the main event begins. Setting up these flat lays requires patience and good light, so having a designated spot away from the crowd ensures we get clean, cinematic images of your jewelry, attire, and ritual items without the chaos of guests in the background.
When you look back at your wedding photos years from now, you might forget the rush of the day, but you will remember the weight of the rings or the specific pattern of the henna. I use prime lenses on my Sony Alpha cameras to get that soft, shallow depth of field, which isolates these items and makes them pop against the background.
Whether it is the traditional thali, your bridal jewelry, or the texture of your wedding outfit, I treat these inanimate objects with the same importance as your portraits. I usually look for natural light sources, such as a nearby window or open doorway, to maintain a soft, cinematic feel. This approach helps these detail shots sit perfectly alongside your candid event photos, creating a cohesive visual story of your wedding day.
I prefer to capture these early in the day when the items are fresh and untouched. If you have specific heirlooms or gifts you want documented, let me know in advance so we can plan the timing.
Santosh Ranal Photography
I am Santosh. For me, photography is about chasing good light and finding those quiet, raw moments that get lost in the noise of a big wedding. When I focus on your rings or the intricate pattern of henna, I am not just taking a photo of an object. I am capturing the tangible pieces of your story so you can remember how it all felt.
